50 books in 2015: it's kicking off.
I decided, like many have, to kick off the new year with a reading challenge. I've not been making the time to read that I used to, and I miss it. Very much. Lately, it even feels a little like I can't keep focused when reading; I can't concentrate the way I used to. And I don't like it.
I want to get back to a place where I can immerse myself in words and ideas; where I can be in a good book again (or even a not-so-good book). So I've set myself the (admittedly modest) goal of reading 50 books in 2015.
The first book off the shelf is Michel Faber's The Book of Strange New Things.
Here we go!
